To create a focused event the class needed to develop the event's S.M.A.R.T. Objectives.  Here is what each letter stands for:

Specific

Measurable

Attainable

Result Oriented

Time Table

 

These objectives were to help us focus on the few factors that would most likely have the greatest impact. Doing so streamlined the planning process for the class, as event planners, and ensures all the client's needs are met. As the objectives were established and completed, new objectives were allowed to be added.
