Welcome to the event website! During the Winter 2018 Semester my GVSU Meetings and Event Management class collaborated with the Student Academic Success Center to host this major's fair. This website will showcase the planning process and what the outcomes were.
Event goal:
Encouraging students to declare a major or make a parallel plan.
How do we get students to attend? By creating an immersive theme different from a traditional major's fair. We generated excitement!
How do we make a major's fair appealing? By offering a free distinctive menu! The menu was focused on sweets to support the idea of picking a "sweet" major.
